OBSTETRICAL ERRORS

COMMON ERRORS

 The following are examples of obstetrics care that falls below the standard of care and may be considered medical malpractice:

CEREBRAL PALSY

Cerebral Palsy is  a neurological disorder caused by a non-progressive brain injury or malformation that occurs while the child’s brain is under development.  Cerebral palsy can be is caused by lack of oxygen, bleeding, or infections in the baby’s brain or in the mother during the pregnancy. This condition leads to an abnormality in sensory function and cognition.
